In July 10, 1890, five Riojan and Basque families who shared a passion for wine founded the ‘Sociedad Vinícola de La Rioja Alta’ in Haro's Station Quarter. They erected a winery on the pillars of quality, elegance, innovation, and evolution, enthusiastically sharing the dream of making and aging top-quality Rioja wines. Thus began a pursuit of excellence that continues into the 21st century with identical enthusiasm, combined with the most modern winemaking technology.

La Rioja Alta’s particular 'treasure' is the more than 400 hectares of estate-owned vineyards located in the best terroirs of Rioja. They also manufacture their own barrels from imported American oak (currently about 30,000) using artisanal methods.

Today, the wines of La Rioja Alta are an international exemplar of the great wines of Rioja, and their brands are present in the best restaurants across all continents.

Introducing the exquisite 2015 La Rioja Alta Vina Ardanza Reserva, a captivating red wine from the renowned Rioja region in Spain. It is a symphony of scents that promise a truly exceptional tasting experience.

On the palate, the 2015 Vina Ardanza Reserva reveals its true character. Medium to full-bodied, it caresses the tongue with fine, velvety tannins and a refreshing acidity that adds vibrancy and structure to the wine. The texture is wonderfully creamy, while the balance is impeccable, showcasing the winemaker's skill in creating a harmonious and layered wine. The vibrant, spicy character dances on the palate, leaving a lasting impression.

Esteemed wine critic James Suckling awarded this masterpiece an impressive 96 points, praising its creamy and balanced nature. Vinous, a trusted name in the wine industry, awarded it a remarkable 94 points, highlighting its intense perfume and long, spicy finish. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate also recognized the excellence of the 2015 vintage, awarding it a well-deserved 94 points and noting its powerful palate and hints of leather and cured meat. Decanter and Wine Spectator also joined the chorus of praise, awarding it 93 and 91 points respectively.

With an alcohol content of 14.5%, this exceptional red is best enjoyed in good company, either now or in the years to come. It pairs beautifully with a wide range of dishes, from succulent roasted meats to hearty stews and aged cheeses.
