Wine & Spirits, October 2019

There’s sunglow to this wine’s flavors, as if mirroring the cool, sunny autumn days in Margaret River that extended the growing season in 2015. There’s nothing dimpled about the fruit; it’s just warm and plump, with...

James Halliday, March 2019

It puts on a good show of cedar wood, blackcurrant, mulberry and bay leaf-like flavour. It's medium in weight and well-balanced overall. and looks set to mature well into the medium term and beyond. Not a hair out of...

Vinous, July 2021

Shimmering violet. Ripe dark berries, cured tobacco and candied flowers on the nose, plus a toasty oak nuance that builds in the glass. Sappy and penetrating on the palate, offering intense cherry-vanilla and black...

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, January 2020

Leeuwin Estate is a family-owned Australian winery and one of the five founding wineries in the now famous Margaret River district of Western Australia. Formerly a cattle ranch, the property was converted to vineyards by Denis and Tricia Horgan upon the advice of legendary Napa Valley winemaker Robert Mondavi when he visited Australia and saw the estate’s potential as being ideal for the production of premium wines.

The estate enjoyed its first commercial vintage in 1979 and was quickly thrust into the international spotlight when Decanter Magazine gave its highest recommendation to the 1980 "Art Series" Chardonnay. Leeuwin now exports to 30 markets. The estate releases wines under the Art Series, Prelude Vineyards and Siblings labels.

Celebrating the combination of fine wine, food, art and music, Leeuwin features an award winning restaurant, cellar door and art gallery. The estate is renowned for staging spectacular events and welcoming visitors from around the world.
