(90-92) The 2015 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de la Garenne, under the "Domaine Due de Magenta" label, has an expressive bouquet with good fruit concentration: dried honey, orange zest and a touch of pralines developing in the glass. The palate is fresh on the entry with a keen thread of acidity, nicely balanced with a harmonious and focused finish. This is worth looking out for, once in bottle.

(87-90) A discreet nose of pear, floral and citrus aromas complements nicely the rich and fleshy yet once again reasonably precise medium-bodied flavors that possess fine underlying material though the bitter lemon-inflected finish lacks a bit of energy though I underscore that it's by no means heavy. I don't know whether this was just tired, perhaps from a recent racking but it was less vibrant than the best here.
