Planted in 1992 on its own roots and bottled separately since 2005, this wine has become Mt Difficulty's flagship. The 2015 Long Gully Single Vineyard Pinot Noir boasts ripe raspberries and cherries dusted with finely ground spices like cinnamon, clove and cardamom. It's medium to full-bodied, with silky tannins and a long, gently tannic finish. Already delicious, it should age well through at least 2025.- JC

The 2015 Long Gully Single Vineyard Pinot Noir has a touch more lift than the Manson’s Farm and offers scents of pure red cherry mixed with crushed strawberry and hints of bay leaf and sous-bois. The palate is medium-bodied with a silky-smooth entry, featuring red cherries, crushed strawberry, a touch of sage and certainly more detail and precision compared to the Manson’s Farm. This is an accomplished Pinot Noir from Mt. Difficulty that should age well over several years. -- Neal Martin
