Poggio al Tesoro is a dream come true for Marilisa Allegrini, who fell for the land and saw its exceptional value and quality. After just a few years and a great deal of hard work, Poggio al Tesoro is now a thriving 70 hectare (173 acre) estate in prime Bolgheri wine-making territory.

The Estate currently has four vineyards: two situated along the Via Bolgherese, the largest one in a village called Le Sondraie near the sea, and the fourth in the town of Bibbona.

Poggio al Tesoro owes a great deal to Marilisa’s brother Walter Allegrini, who chose the parcels of land that would constitute the current estate, aiming for diversification in terroirs and grape varieties.
