From the Alexander Valley (this vineyard lies on the border of Alexander Valley and the Russian River), the 2015 Zinfandel Big River is another beautiful Zinfandel. Plums, blood orange, dried violets, and dried herb notes, medium body, integrated acidity, and a brambly, spicy, savory finish are the defining features of this beauty. Like the other single vineyard releases, it has good acidity, is impeccably made, and is capable of keeping for upwards of a decade.
