Some 140,000 bottles were made, which is more than average. This is a fresh and buoyant wine that is loaded with tangy tropical fruit, pineapple and honeydew melon. The wine's intensity is exuberant, pronounced and refreshing. Dustings of fine mineral and salty limestone characteristics give the wine a brilliant sense of polish and crispness. Bruna Giacosa tells me the fruit harvested in 2016 was beautiful. She distinctly remembers the perfumes of the Arneis grapes as they came into the winery on the back of a truck during harvest. This is a beautiful white wine. - Monica Larner

Wine Spectator, October 2017
Floral and peach aromas give way to peach, melon and citrus flavors in this harmonious, juicy white. Impeccably balanced and very drinkable, with a long, delicate aftertaste. Drink now. 11,500 cases made. –BS

Aromas of meyer lemon and key lime burst from the glass on an energy-filled nose, while a few swirls reveal aromas of tropical fruit and a hint of ocean breeze. Hailing from one of Piedmont’s greatest producers, the pedigree is immediately evident on this wine- elegant and polished on the palate, there is great focus and precision, with a beautiful interplay between minerality, tropical fruit and racy citrus. This is a wine that makes you want to keep sipping, and stands as a tremendous value from ‘The Genius of Neive’.
