The 2016 Séchet from the Dauvissats shows outstanding potential and is nicely reserved in profile out of the blocks. The wine offers up a classic, youthful bouquet of lemon, apple, beeswax, chalky soil tones and white flowers. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and tightly-knit, with a racy girdle of acidity, a fine core and lovely focus and grip on the perfectly balanced and snappy finish. This will need a couple of years to really start to stir. (Drink between 2020-2040)
