The 2016 Domaine Leflaive Pucelles is also showing properly reserved at the present time, with fine depth and nascent complexity underneath. The bouquet delivers scents of apple, white peach, fresh almond a fine base of limestone soil tones, delicate flora tones and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied, long and very primary still, with a good core, fine focus and grip and a long, perfectly balanced and promising finish. Just add a bit of patience to allow this lovely wine to fully blossom.
