Otherwise there is excellent volume to the relatively refined mouth feel thanks to the dense but fine tannins shaping the youthfully austere, complex and impressively persistent finish. This will clearly need at least some bottle age as it's very firm at present. collapse

On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with tangy acids, fine but firm structuring tannins and a long, expansive finish. Attractively complete and built for the cellar, this will reward bottle age. - William Kelley collapse

This is quite complex, even if it misses a little joie-de-vivre. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red fruit, a fine bead of acidity, quite precise and classy towards the finish that shows impressive integration of oak and substance. This is a well crafted, very typical Corton that should age with style. Tasted blind at the 2016 Burgfest tasting. -- Neal Martin collapse
