The smooth, full-bodied palate shows tension and finesse, offering fleshy black cherry, espresso and licorice alongside fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity. Drink 2021–2030. KERIN O’KEEFE

Sweet berry aromas with hints of flowers and spices. Very perfumed. Full-bodied, firm and chewy with a velvety texture and a flavorful finish. Shows lovely intensity and flavor. Drink from 2022.

Powerful, deep and super expressive, it shows tremendous depth, character and nuance as well as all of the power that is typical of this Treiso site. I can't wait to see where this bottling goes in future vintages. Medium in body but also quite tannic and structured, the 2016 needs a few years in bottle to start becoming approachable. -- Antonio Galloni

The nose is ripe but still reticent, with raspberry and redcurrant aromas. The attack is fresh but the underlying tannins soon become apparent, though they are fine-grained. Good acidity keeps the palate lively and persistent. This is harmonious, balanced and long. Drinking Window 2020 - 2035
