Sexy, Pomerol-like notes of blackberries, blueberries, ground herbs, lead pencil, and spice box all emerge from this fleshy, full-bodied, opulent red. It has fine tannins, terrific balance, and the class to keep for over a decade, although there's no need to delay gratification either.

Hearty aromas of kirsch, cassis, snickerdoodle and root beer show on the nose of this blend of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Petit Verdot and 15% Syrah by Russell From. It's lavish on the palate with rich blueberry, charred coffee bean, caramel-laced fudge and burned beef flavors, all sheathed in tight tannins.
