Bright yellow. Pure, expressive nose melds yellow peach, flowers, hazelnut and minerals; smells concentrated and young. Fine-grained and sweet on entry, then a bit more taut in the middle palate, with good mineral energy and almost appley acidity giving the wine surprising inner-mouth tension. Finishes ripe but dry and classic and quite long, with solid mineral support but no phenolic character. The crop level was a full 48 hectoliters per hectare here. -- Stephen Tanzer

Clear pale lemon and lime, super ripe notes with honeysuckle and melon, and a little spice behind. Definitely one of the riper wines and for my palate might have been better if picked earlier. But there is very good intensity and the acidity is well judged. Lime jello and pineapple to finish. Tasted: May 2019.
