Moving to the reds, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Blueprint is the entry-level release and is 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot, sourced from numerous vineyards, and aged in 51% new French oak. It has textbook dark fruits, cedary spice, and earth notes, medium to full body, good concentration, and a balanced, classic style that’s incredibly satisfying. It will keep for 15+ years.

Made up of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot aged 17 months in 51% new French oak, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Blueprint is deep garnet-purple colored and gives up expressive notes of warm plums, blackberry pie and blueberry compote with touches of Indian spices, black pepper, cigar box and dusty soil. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is packed with spicy black fruit preserves, framed by velvety tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing long with a peppery kick. 2,100 cases produced. - LPB
