From Les Loachausses, 35 year old vines which got frozen in 2016. They responded with a generous crop this year, so had to be green harvested. Rather paler colour here. This is very sensual indeed, sleek juicy raspberries, a faint touch of barrel toast behind, fully ripe soft fruit, not one of the lacy ones.

(90-92 points) An even spicier nose reflects riper aromas of plum liqueur, violet, sandalwood and a touch of anise, all of which is trimmed in an application of oak. There is notably more volume to the rich and caressing middle weight flavors that exhibit good muscle on the dusty and moderately serious finish that offers better persistence on the more structured finish that displays a hint of dryness that my predicted range assumes will eventually dissipate.
