(88-90) The 2017 Morey-Saint-Denis Village comes from Clos Solon and Les Seuvrées. This has a superb bouquet, very well defined, the fruit a little blacker than the Chambolle. The palate is medium-bodied with a citrus-driven entry, veins of blood orange suffusing the black fruit, and a sturdy, grippy finish that will require two or three years to soften. Good potential.
