In the southernmost reaches of the region, the Fèlsina property is divided up into 17 vineyards, 11 of which fall into the Chianti Classico denomination. The annata, which has been made since 1967, is a selection of grapes coming from these different parcels. It has inviting, fragrant anise and tarragon aromas followed by a palate offering luscious, fleshy cherries with a fine tannic grip. Appetising minerality kicks in at the end, lingering on the finish.
