With beautiful purity, integrated acidity and a great finish, it has a touch of Chambolle-Musigny character and will keep for a decade or more.

The grapes are sourced from the Monks' Gate vineyard in Yamhill-Carlton. Lush aromatics roll from spicy cranberry into rich strawberry, blueberry and red plum, along with details of baking spices and composted earth. Hints of herbs continue on through the finish. Fermented with native yeast, it was finished in 25% new French oak. PAUL GREGUTT
