The... expand The 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet Village has an attractive bouquet of toffee apple, orange blossom and honeysuckle; it’s cohesive and nicely focused, if not as intense as many of the Saint-Aubins from Joseph Colin. The palate is well balanced and offers an irresistible rondeur in the mouth. A dash of white pepper percolates through the citrus fruit, gaining weight toward the limey finish, which leaves behind an understated yet deceptively persistent aftertaste.
