This classic wine is bright and full of vitality, showing a more cheerful side to this often austere Piedmont grape. Dark fruit and cassis segue to cedar and camphor ash. - ML

It balances juicy flavors of crushed cherry and raspberry with earthy hints and warm spice notes. Its thick, chewy tannins will soften with time, but this is very appealing right out of the gate.

The palate is gentle and inviting, with notes of cranberry cocktail, rosewater, and stony earth. Approachable for fresh, early drinking, enjoy 2021-2032.
