Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy, October 2019
(93-97 points) Lovely pale lemon with a faint green tint. Delicately smoky, nuanced refined. It isn’t just a question of the weight, with superbly interleaved mineral acidity. Brilliant intensity to finish.

A notably more refined palate feel is present on the delicious, stony and enveloping flavors that culminate in a graceful though tightly wound finish that exhibits excellent length. This classy effort is really very stylish.

This shows plenty of potential, but it really needs more élevage to show all its cards. - WK

It has a timid bouquet at first, demanding some encouragement from the glass, but eventually offering apple blossom and light chalky aromas. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity, very malic and almost Chablis-like toward the lip-smacking saline finish. Very fine, but it will require more bottle age than the Folatière. -- Neal Martin
