Fragrant, this red is full of floral and exotic spice aromas. The silky texture envelops wild cherry and berry, sandalwood and mineral flavors. The firm tannins and vibrant acidity drive the long, expansive finish. Best from 2024 through 2042. – BS

(90-93 points) Cool and airy notes of tiny wild berries are complemented by hints of the sauvage, floral, spice and warm earth. There is good volume to the nicely refined middle weight flavors that are at once succulent yet powerful, all wrapped in a lingering and balanced finale. This will need to depth with time in bottle but the underlying material appears to be present for that to occur.
