On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, supple and textural, with lively acids and chalky structuring dry extract, marking a step up in concentration and amplitude after the lieux-dits that preceded it.- WK

There is both excellent intensity and sleek muscularity to the well-defined and subtly mineral-driven flavors that possess good power plus solid depth and length on the appealingly dry finale. This is actually relatively refined for Poruzots and should reward up to a decade of cellaring.

The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, touches of quince and liquorice, good weight on the finish with impressive persistence. Excellent, although I find the price here rather "punchy". -- Neal Martin
