(91-93 points) The 2018 Aloxe-Corton Les Vercots ter Cru comes from a single hectare replanted 15 years ago with Pinot Tres Fin, which Nathalie Tollot told me has "looser bunches to prevent rot." It has a very pretty, quite intense bouquet of raspberry, wild strawberry and wet limestone aromas that are well defined. The medium-bodied palate delivers very supple tannin and a keen line of acidity. Fresh and vibrant, with a slightly peppery and sustained finish. This is perhaps my pick of Tollot-Beaut's Premier Crus this vintage. Excellent. — Neal Martin

Marked by alluring black cherry and violet aromas and flavors, this red also has intensity and structure. Iron, earth and spice elements add depth. Has a nice silkiness to offset the light burr of tannins on the finish. Best from 2023 through 2035. 400 cases made, 25 cases imported. — BS
