From the thin soils in the upper section of this vineyard, this is substantial if not forward and is produced with 50-year-old vines which are farmed biodynamically. The proportion of new wood is fairly important, but not terribly apparent, as the initial impression is lemony citrus fruit, with a pronounced mineral/saline cast. On the palate, however, it shows the Meursault origin, with a bigger feel and a long, lovely richness that lingers satisfyingly. (Drink between 2024-2039)
