Bright, juicy notes of black cherries, framboise, and cassis give way to more spicy oak, chocolate, and dried flower notes. This beauty is medium to full-bodied and has a plush, sexy texture, notable freshness and purity, ripe tannins, and a great finish. It's one of those pretty, elegant wines that still packs rocking levels of fruit.

(93-95 points) Flowers, tobacco leaf, smoke, licorice, wet earth and fresh red fruits. The wine blends 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot and 6% Petit Verdot reaching 14% alcohol and is aging in 50% new French oak barrels.

(JS 93-94 points) A big, juicy red with lots of blackberry and chocolate character to the fruit, as well as juicy and chewy tannins. It shows plenty of backbone and stuffing.

Sappy, juicy, well defined raspberry and blackberry fruits, concentrated in all the right places, with a saline finish that is both mouthwatering and moreish. Winemaker Marjolaine de Coninck has steered the property through the heat of the summer and got the balance just right. Harvest September 26 to October 12.

It has an alcohol of 14% and is being aged in French oak barrels, 50% new. Very deep purple-black colored, it charges out of the gate with bold notions of baked blackberries, warm cassis and plum preserves plus hints of dried Provence herbs, cracked black pepper, woodsmoke and hoisin. The medium-bodied palate has bags of freshness and a ripe, grainy-textured frame supporting the generous black fruits, finishing long and savory. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown
