An intensely perfumed bouquet of strawberry raspberry smoky minerals and a touch of dried rose. Focused and deep in flavor but also lively with mineral-tinged blood orange and raspberry qualities and a hint of bitter cherry pit. Offers a suave blend of power and minerality with excellent finishing clarity and stony persistence.

Lightly chalky displaying bright flavors of tangy cherry blood orange smoke violet and black licorice. Racy and streamlined with a lingering zesty finish. Drink now through 2013. 125 cases imported. -AN

The NV Brut Rose is a surprisingly big boisterous wine from Diebolt-Vallois. The heavy presence of red grapes is felt in the wine's texture and weight both of which are a bit unusual for this property. The Rose shows off gorgeous sweet aromatics and a focused finish both of which serve to balance the wine's exuberance. This is another terrific wine from Diebolt-Vallois. This is Lot LR08 disgorged November 2009. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2014. -AG

With a beautiful pink rose hue the bouquet shows off a quiet nose of berry rose petal and fresh florals. Bright and clean flavors of ripe cherry comprise the core of the palate where they form lightly dense textures. Some firmness appears in the backpalate as the flavors turn towards dried berry and the juicy core fades. The cherry and berry notes continue their presence in the fruity finish. (Cork 1912)
