Founded in 1982, Roederer Estate winery is nestled in Mendocino County's cool, fog-shrouded Anderson Valley. As the California outpost of Champagne Louis Roederer, Roederer Estate winery builds upon a centuries-old tradition of fine winemaking.

Roederer Estate's sparkling wines are produced using only estate-grown grapes from the winery's own vineyards. Carrying on the tradition of Champagne Louis Roederer in France, special oak-aged reserve wines are added to each blend. The multi-vintage Roederer Estate Anderson Valley Brut debuted in 1988 to great acclaim, followed by the Roederer Brut Rose and Roederer Estate's tete de cuvee, L'Ermitage.

The 9998 Roederer Estate Anderson Valley Brut Rosé is a captivating wine that exudes elegance and finesse. With a beautiful salmon color that catches the eye, this Rosé is a true delight for both the senses and the palate. Produced by the esteemed Roederer Estate, this wine showcases the exceptional quality of California winemaking.

Crafted from a proprietary blend of fifty-six percent pinot noir and forty-four percent chardonnay, with a touch of still red wine added to achieve its stunning hue, this wine is a testament to the artistry of blending. The grapes are sourced from the Anderson Valley, a sub-appellation of Mendocino in the North Coast region of California, known for its cool climate and ideal conditions for producing sparkling wines.

Upon pouring, the nose reveals a delightful bouquet of strawberry, tart orange, and bread dough, accompanied by a hint of spring flowers. This aromatic symphony sets the stage for the sensory journey that awaits. On the palate, the wine is bright, zesty, and full-bodied, with a refined mousse that dances across the tongue. The flavors of strawberry and watermelon take center stage, layered with nuances of ginger and spices, creating a dynamic and complex profile.

The Roederer Estate Brut Rosé impresses with its impeccable balance and focus. It is aged sur latte for a minimum of two years, allowing the flavors to develop and integrate harmoniously. The finishing dosage of eleven grams per liter adds a touch of sweetness, enhancing the overall experience.

Renowned wine critics have praised this wine for its exceptional qualities. John Gilman of View From The Cellar scored it 90 points, noting its lovely nose, bright palate, and long, complex finish. James Suckling awarded it an impressive 94 points, describing it as delicious, layered, and full, with fine bubbles that seamlessly meld into the wine. Wine Spectator also recognized its vivacity and generosity, giving it a score of 92 and highlighting its sleek strawberry and watermelon flavors.
