Among those few bottles that
have
shown some increase in both
range and richness among the 2004s, this wine has achieved a
lovely blend of cherry- and vanilla-scented first aromas that are
well-fit to its inviting crème brûlée, dried flowers nuances lurking
in the background. Only a trifle of a chalky, slightly dry hint at the
back of the palate gives away the wine’s age, and while it may
not grow much from here, so too will it not fall apart any time
soon.
