Two Wineries, One Philosophy

Saturday, December 9th, 2017, 2 to 4pm
La Folie Lounge, San Francisco, CA

Founded in 1872, Chateau Lafleur is world-renowned for its rare and much-lauded flagship release. But few know the Guinaudeau family has tended vines and crafted wine in Bordeaux at least as far back as the 17th century!

Their story is of two chateaux, Grand Village and Lafleur. Yet throughout their lengthy history as vignerons, the Guinaudeau family has never conceded to trends or the whims of passing fashion. The philosophy has been singular – to produce wines that respect the family's heritage, the soil, the climate, and the people who help to make them.

On Saturday, December 9th, we welcome Chateau Lafleur cellar master Omri Ram for a guided tasting of the Guinaudeau family portfolio. Omri will present and discuss six selections from the both properties, including Les Champs Libres Blanc, Grand Village (white and red), Acte 6, Les Pensees de Lafleur, and Chateau Lafleur.

While not a formal, seated seminar, guests should arrive at 2pm so that everyone can follow the presentation as a group.

Space is limited to 20 guests. Due to the special nature of this event, tickets are non-refundable.
