Firm, medium-bodied, classic, tannic and with an herbal, green olive and leafy herb accent to the sharp, bright red fruits, the wine offers some rusticity to the dusty tannins in the finish. The nose is more interesting than the palate here. This is clearly an old-school wine that those wishing for days gone by might appreciate more than I did.
