The opaque thick black/purple-colored 1998 boasts viscous concentrated flavors of licorice chocolate blackberries and currants. Full-bodied and voluptuous with moderately high tannin this massive wine will require 4-5 years of cellaring despite its hedonistic display of aromas and flavors. Anticipated maturity: 2004-2022.
