The amazing 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Tychson Hill Vineyard (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) offers up a fabulously fragrant perfume of chocolate barbecue smoke creme de cassis crushed rocks and spring flowers. A wine of enormous concentration multiple dimensions layers of flavor and a sensational one minute plus finish its purity harmony and symmetry are prodigious. It should be at its peak between 2009-2028.

Rich and smooth with a milk-chocolate texture and flavor joining complex currant black cherry and blackberry that's tightly wound. The solid thrust of flavor and the wonderful polish to the tannins make it a big yet lovable young Cabernet. Best from 2007 through 2013. 150 cases made. -JL

The 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Tychson Hill is a very pretty wine. Sweet pipe tobacco, dried flowers, mint, dried cherry and brown spices are nicely delineated. Soft, resolved and nearly fully mature, the 2002 is a wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. I would not push my luck too far on aging at this point.
