The 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Tychson Hill is a very pretty wine. Sweet pipe tobacco, dried flowers, mint, dried cherry and brown spices are nicely delineated. Soft, resolved and nearly fully mature, the 2002 is a wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. I would not push my luck too far on aging at this point. The 2002 was the first vintage made at the new winery at IX Estate.
