This wine is opaque and dark red/purple color with full intensity. The nose lifts with a perfume of ripe cherry compote and warm integrated oak and vanillin. A tertiary nose of underlying gravel rocks and dusty tarry earth and graphite supports the perfume. On the palate a delicious ripe cherry and plum fruit shows a medium acid and medium to full bodied wine. The striking point to notice here is the fleshy powdery dusty tannins that coat your mouth nicely and finish smooth but with the right amount of focus to balance the fruit and oak. This wine has power and concentration with a very long lingering finish!

A surprisingly strong offering this blend of 75% Merlot 17% Cabernet Franc 6% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Malbec exhibits raspberry blueberry floral and mineral-like aromas along with subtle notes of toasty oak medium body and an elegant personality. Not a wine of power or huge extraction it will offer finesse purity and elegance over the next 10-15 years.</P>
