A blend of various vineyards from the far or "true" Sonoma Coast and also Hartford Court's highest-production Pinot Noir. Always beautiful and balanced the '07 in particular is remarkable for its silky tannins and overall seamless quality. Really excites for the complexity of currant cola licorice and cedar flavors. Now through 2013. S.H.

The brilliant 2007 Pinot Noir Land's Edge Vineyard (a Sonoma Coast mountain site) also comes from Dijon clones but it is a deeper richer full-bodied effort. Its dark ruby color is accompanied by a sweet floral raspberry and black cherry-scented bouquet with the wood component pushed to the background. Broad deep rich and impressively endowed it should drink well for 5-8 years.

Smoky dark berry flavors are enlivened by zesty minerals and pick up a candied floral quality with air. This packs a lot of flavor but needs time to stretch out. Becomes deeper and chewier with air and finishes with solid grip and powerful thrust. 91(+?) -JR

Deep raspberry notes emerge on the nose mingling with cool cream and a touch of mocha. Big and lush on the palate with its red berry notes this is nicely balanced in the style of cool climate Sonoma Coast pinot. Drinking... Drinking extremely well right now this is up front and rich-lip-smacking even-so have a second bottle handy.
