Inky purple core with a slight ruby rim. Jammy fruit appears on the nose in the shape of blackberry and plum followed by more subtle notes of saddle leather earth and a hint of wild herbs. Luscious and velvety on the palate the dark fruit comes forward balanced by bright herbal notes that provide some lift to the wine. The finish lingers in the classic Napa style. Still young this should improve with 2-3 years in the cellar and drink beautifully for a decade after that.

Glass-staining opaque color-red and deep purple. The nose is super expressive offering blackberry and candied red fruit dried herbs and chaparral. Those notes are mirrored on the palate which is very up front in its sweet black fruit and liqueur. With its flash of primary fruit and supple tannins this could be enjoyed in the near term or held for a few years.
