Medium-deep ruby color; deep complex blueberry and dark cherry aromas with lots of spicy notes; rich. ripe complex dark cherry and blueberry pie flavors; spice and earthy notes; silky texture sweet oak; great structure and balance; long finish. Incredibly complex and full of flavor this Pinot has a lot of time ahead of it but also drinks well now.

Opens with a wonderfully fragrant nose redolent of rich cherry raspberry and strawberry enhanced by a lovely spice and earth component. But where this wine really stands out is on the palate. Here's a terrific display of juicy fruit that remains light on its feet as the wine glides effortlessly from beginning to end picking up a note of anise on the finish. Quite enjoyable now but given past efforts from this producer and the structure found in this current bottling this will be a crowd pleaser for many years to come.
