Dark ruby, almost black, core. The most striking aspect to this Rutherford Cab is the incredibly pure dark cherry and cassis nose. Layered underneath is eucalyptus, fresh fennel and baking spices. Even with the depth of the fruit present on the nose, this is surprisingly light on its feet with plenty of acidity and very soft tannins. However, the mouth still holds a healthy dose of Rutherford weight. Overall, excellent structure and length to this classic Napa wine. Drink now through 2022.
