A tightly wound version of what appears to be a riper vintage for this tiny estate, it shows a wealth of complex, integrated characters, with pear, white-peach and melon fruit ahead of nougat, gentle spice and a strong chalky/stony undercurrent. The palate flows and builds with layers of flavor such as ripe peach and pear. A deceptively strong core of acidity here. This makes a bold play to the finish, where it gathers pace and focuses, driving spear-like into the distance – it lingers for an eternity. Drink now. - Nick Stock
