A fresh cool and restrained nose of surpassing elegance displays airy red berry fruit in particular raspberry and currant. Interestingly for a Rugiens this is almost delicate on the mid-palate but there is excellent power and plenty of underlying tension to the very firmly structured linear and somewhat strict if wonderfully persistent and impeccably well-balanced finish. I wouldn't buy this unless you expressly intend to cellar it for at least a decade. - Comments: Outstanding ♥
