WS 92
Wine Spectator, April 2012
A bold modern style with overt spice aromatics and mouthfilling blueberry compote plum sauce and fig paste flavors. Dark anise and graphite fill in on the finish. Not shy but pulls it off.-J.M.
JS 92
jamessuckling.com, February 2014
Shows serious concentration of fruit for the vintage, with a medium to full body, fine tannins and a juicy finish. Beautiful, pure fruit, with licorice and berries. Needs a few years to come together: try in 2017

The 2011 continues to provide convincing evidence of their commitment to quality. Slightly more narrowly constructed than usual, it possesses good purity along with lots of red and black fruits and minerality in a medium-bodied, compact style. Nevertheless, it should age nicely for a decade or more. - Robert M. Parker, Jr. collapse
