Another terrific effort from Jean-Philippe Janoueix, this beautiful 2011 boasts a dense purple color as well as a big, sweet bouquet of smoky barbecue, red and black fruits, and subtle background oak. Rich, full-bodied and textured, there is not a hard edge to be found in this plush, well-endowed St.-Emilion. Enjoy it over the next decade. - Robert Parker
