Aged for 16 months in 33% new barrels. Dark nearly opaque purple core with a fuchsia rim. Medium intense cherry and violet aromas on the pretty nose. Black fruits also dominate the palate entry expanding slightly in the mid-palate. That is somewhat disjointed due to the heavy drying tannins on the finish. Enjoy from 2016-2024.
