This is followed up by a full-bodied, concentrated, and still elegant 2012 that has lots of tannin, beautiful purity of fruit and a seamless texture that keep you coming back to the glass. Made from 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Malbec and the rest Petit Verdot and Merlot, aged 20 months in 83% new French oak, give this rocking 2012 3-4 years in the cellar and enjoy it through 2032+. - Jeb Dunnuck

This is dark as night, black at the core and violet at the rim. On the nose there are very floral aromatics up front followed by meaty notes along with black and purple fruits. Notes of lavender, sage, cured meat, blackberry, cassis and ever so slight elements of vanilla and scorched earth. This is very well made; it’s layered, supremely complex and has great length. This is quite young but tastes so good it will be hard to keep your hands off. Drink now with plenty of air and over the next 5- 8 years.

This is a compelling wine with aromas of coffee, dried herbs, cherry and barrel spices. It wins over on finesse rather than power but shows more than ample amounts of both. There's enough structure that it will benefit from some time in the cellar. It will be best from 2019-2027.

Firm in texture, with smoky, licorice-accented blackberry, cherry, molasses and coffee flavors that keep gaining momentum as they play against a mild grip of tannins. The finish pushes on. Has tremendous presence and persistence. Best after 2017. From Washington. — H.S.
