If not reaching as far as nor showing quite the depth of its single-site cellarmates, DuMOL’s appellation bottling is a well-focused Pinot whose richness lends it a distinct family stamp. It is supple, slightly fleshy and moderately full on the palate with a touch of back-palate grip, and its nicely framed flavors of ripe cherries and sweet oak hold and hold. Its accessibility invites an immediate glass or two, but it is a wine with very clear potential for a few years of development.
