The 2013 Puligny Montrachet 1Er Cru les Combettes has a very detailed and precise bouquet with citrus fruit, granite and apple blossom aromas that gently unfold with style and grace. The palate is very well balanced with crisp acidity, vibrant and lively with white pepper and oyster shell notes towards the complex and persistent finish. This is a very impressive Puligny-Montrachet with a prosperous future ahead of it. Tasted May 2016. - Neal Martin
