(WA94-96 points) The 2013 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru has an inviting, warm and enveloping bouquet that seems to surround the senses and give them a big hug. The palate is well balanced with fine tannins, animated citrus fruit underlying the black cherries and wild strawberry notes. There is really quite wonderful precision and focus on the finish. This is one of Jadot's best 2013s. - Neal Martin

(BH89-91 points) There is quite a bit of wood and menthol influence fighting with the cool, ripe and dense nose of dark currant, earth and leather-inflected aromas. The big-bodied and voluminous flavors possess fine density and punch on the mildly rustic and even slightly dry finish. While I can’t be sure, my sense is that the dryness is more a function of the gas as the nose is clearly ripe and the mid-palate displays no asperity. Barnier noted that this was not vinified by Jadot. 2021+
