This Merlot is a beautiful translucent purple hinting on ruby in the glass. Transitioning to the nose, it is fruit driven, leading with fresh plums, dry raisins and candied red cherries. Its bouquet is concentrated and intense, nuanced by fresh flowers and licorice. The palate follows seamlessly from the nose, with a lush medium plus body, soft tannins, moderate acidity and an overall pleasant structure. This Merlot is pleasant now but could also benefit from 10-12 years of cellaring.
