Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, December 2017

One of Margaret River's (and Australia's) iconic Chardonnays, Leeuwin's 2014 Art Series Chardonnay continues that proud tradition. Never shy on toasty, nutty oak or bold fruit, the 2014 features both seamlessly woven...

Vinous, July 2021

Limpid yellow-gold. A suave, highly perfumed bouquet evokes fresh pear, peach and melon, along with suggestions of lemon pith, vanilla, honey and chalky minerals. Stains the palate with intense, oak-spiced orchard and...

Decanter,

Complex aromatics of grapefruit, oyster shell and shale minerality suggest power and energy. Very much in the mould of early Leeuwins with carefully integrated, classy oak and tightly knit flavours that linger.

jamessuckling.com, January 2018

Aromas of cooked apple, pineapple and pear with hints of honeysuckle. Full body, fantastic depth of fruit and intensity. Tight and muscular. Reserved. Powerful. Screw cap. Give it a year or two still but a joy to taste.

The “Art Series” represents Leeuwin’s most opulent & age-worthy wines from each vintage. They are identified with paintings commissioned from leading contemporary Australian artists.

Leeuwin Art Series Chardonnay is aromatically complex and packed with flavor but maintains vivid acidity. The wine is fruit forward, typically citrus-driven but also showing pear and nuances of stone fruit. Oak-aging adds depth and gentle accents, such as cinnamon, but no overt woody notes. The wines easily age, and improve, for a good 15 years.
