The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Terroir Series is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot. A well-made wine with a dense ruby/plum/purple color, attractive loamy soil undertones with hints of underbrush, forest floor, lots of blackcurrants and a whiff of chocolate, the complex aromatics are followed by a medium to full-bodied wine with a velvety texture, a lovely, lush mouthfeel, and beautiful purity and elegance. It should drink well for another 10-15 years. It is somewhat understated but certainly delivers immense pleasure and satisfaction. - Robert Parker
